Irondequoit: Peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the age of 82. Predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Marian; brother, Darryl. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Beverly; son, Bryan (Amy) Olyer; grandchildren, Benjamin and Mary; in-laws, Joan (Vincent) Zumbo, Donald Hyde, Robert (Shirley) Hyde, Coralee (Scott) Wilkerson, and Ruth Rogers; several nieces and nephews. Carlton was a sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Korean era. He was a 37 year retiree of Bausch and Lomb and an avid NY Giants fan.

Friends are welcome Tuesday 4-7pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. Carlton's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 9:30am at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to VNS - U of R.
