Irondequoit: Friday, December 29, 2017 at the age of 77. Predeceased by his parents, George and Margaret Gagnier; brother, George Gagnier; sister, Patricia Reichhart; brother-in-law, Kevin Yandow. Survived by his children, Charlene (Brad) Zeher, Joseph (Nancy) Gagnier, Gloria (Frank) Minardo, and Julie (Mike) Kicker; sister, Margaret Yandow; grandchildren, Jonathan, Kira, Abigail, Sonny, Diana, April, Steven, and Megan; great-granddaughter, Olive; sister-in-law, Judy Gagnier; several nieces and nephews. James was a 43 year retiree of Xerox, a volunteer firefighter with the West Webster Fire Department and also the Sierra Madre Fire Department in California. James was an avid Red Wings baseball fan and ticket holder for over 20 years. He loved his children, grandchildren and great granddaughter very much.



Friends are welcome Friday 3-7pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. James' Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 9:30am at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hillside Childrens Center.
