August 10, 2022. Survived by the love of his life & childhood sweetheart, his “Honey”, Mary Ann (Pelino); married 66 years. Children: Mark (mother of his children, Erika), Susan, Bill & Corky. Grandchildren Elisa (Ian), Carla, Barbara, Edgar, Ava & Nick, 2 great grandchildren, Beloved Brothers & Sisters In-Law Carmine & Linda, Guy & Janet, several nieces & nephews, many dear friends and Grand-dog Larry. Predeceased by brothers Mike (Jenny), Vinnie (Connie), Nephew Tom Nickolini, Uncle Fran Tribunella.

Al was a proud Korean War veteran serving in the Army as a military police officer. He was a member of the Eastridge Kiwanis Club, Penfield Country Club, and owner of Carvel Ice Cream in Perinton. Al was also a Goalie for the Italian-American Soccer Team. Al was loved by everyone that met him. He was a second father to more people than you could count. His kind spirit and smile will be missed by all.

Friends are welcome Monday, August 15th from 4-7pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. Al's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, August 16th, 11am at St. Joseph's Church in Penfield.
