Irondequoit: Sunday, September 30, 2018. Predeceased by her father, Hans Fornefeld. Survived by her mother, Antonia; sister, Michelle (Mark) Mastro; nephew, Tyler; special friends, Connie and Dave Albert, Tracy and John Leblanc, Leslie and (Todd) Chambers, Maria Boeckmann, Joe Laudico, and Joan Mackey; god-parents, Genevieve Chesebro and Erwin Bretzel; god-children, Christina and Claire Leblanc; aunts, uncles and cousins. Cindy loved horses, traveling the world, which included visiting 6 out of 7 continents, and recently enjoyed camping. She especially enjoyed spending time with her nephew Tyler. Cindy worked at the University of Rochester as a senior research analyst in Prospect Development and earlier years at Donuts Delite. She impacted so many lives throughout the years. Cindy was very proud of her Dodge Ram "Hurc" and loved her cat "Simone."

Friends are welcome Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10am at Peace of Christ Parish at St. Ambrose Church. Memorials may be made to Toys for Tots or Meals on Wheels.
