Obituary for Douglas McMaster
Penfield: Monday, July 8, 2019 at the age of 85. Survived by his family, Don and Diane Wesgate, their children, Tim (Sarah) and Jody Wesgate,; Tim's children, Ana, Mckenzie, and Finnigan. Douglas was a proud US Marine veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart during the Korean War. He was a member of the Iron Workers Local 33.
Friends are welcome Thursday 4-7pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home, 1717 Portland Ave. (just north of E.Ridge Rd.) where a prayer service will be held at 6:30pm. Interment with full military honors will be held Friday at 12noon in Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.Box 758518 Topeka, Kansas 66675.
