Pittsford: Wednesday, February 16th, 2022. Predeceased by his parents, Alphonse and Rose Valenti, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and May Myers. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan Valenti; siblings, Dr. William (James Wolk) Valenti, Elizabeth (Robert) Muscato and Richard (Mary Ann) Valenti; sisters-in-law, Jeanie Burgess and Allison (Thomas) Stefanov; brother-in-law, Robert (Karen) Myers; nephews, Christopher (Christine) Muscato and David (Erica) Burgess; nieces, Stephanie (Robert) Cavalier and Julie (Trent) Jackson; great nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Jim was a graduate of his beloved Buffalo State College and the University of Toledo Law School. He retired after 30 plus years as an attorney at Trevett Cristo Law Firm. Jim was a diehard Yankee fan and had a passion for cooking good food.

Family and friends are welcome Sunday, February 20th from 2-5pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. Jim's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 21st, 9:30am at St. Louis Church. Interment will be private. The family is requesting that you wear a mask if you are not fully vaccinated. In lieu of flowers, please have memorials go to Trillium Health.
