BRIGHTON: Died peacefully on April 3, 2013. Sister Jane served for many years as a teacher and administrator at Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women, Holy Family High School (Auburn) and Notre Dame High School (Elmira). After more than 30 years in education, she ministered as the executive secretary for the president of the Sisters of Mercy and completed her active ministry as the Archivist for the Community. In retirement she continued her service as a volunteer. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Hasbrouck of VA, many nieces and nephews, friends, and her sisters in community.

Friends are welcome TUESDAY 4-7PM at the Mercy Center(1437 Blossom Rd.) followed by a Vigil Service at 7pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated WEDNESDAY 10am at the Mercy Center. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Sisters of Mercy.
