I only knew Jane as Sr. Francine, my first grade teacher at Holy Cross School in 1957. She left a lasting memory as a kind, caring and loving woman who guided me through my first year of school, first exposure to learning, and feelings of positive encouragement and success.
I was blessed to know her and hold her memory dear.

Jane was such a sweet presence in the special events of Mary Austin’s family. I remember her gentle nature and patience and have always admired her. She was a beloved companion to Mary who thankfully cared for her lovingly in her later years. We always missed her and will continue to do so though she will be closer than ever now. My condolences to the Sisters of Mercy and especially to Mary Austin. I am sure she is being welcomed home with great joy!

Being a friend of Sr. Helen Anne, it seems I always knew Jane. She checked on me regularly. When I was a parishioner at St. James as an adult I was privileged to be present when she lectured or took part in the service. Kind, sweet, soft spoken, humble, supportive and super active with Mary Austin at her side, that's what I remember about Jane. She's one of the memories that shines when I think of St. James.

I have so many nice memories of Jane her love of baseball, golf and her Lord. Jane had a deep commitment to her family friends and the Sisters of Mercy. She had a generous kind and non-complaining spirit even in the midst of her failing health. May the Blessed Mother Mary and Jesus continue to use her to intercede on our behalf. Jane you made a difference in our lives.
My condolences to Mary Austin, Sisters of Mercy Frank and the entire family
