Condolence From: Linda Decker
Condolence: Dear Mrs.Porter, Our husbands worked together at either St. Joe Paper Co. or Gaylord. I apologize I can't remember which. They were good friends and I heard John's name mentioned regularly. John surprised me this past November when he attended Jim's memorial service. I had a large picture of John, Jim, Jim Burke, and Steve Shute having a beer or two on payday. It was one of my favorites of Jim. I really appreciated John stopping by. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. Unfortunately I know what you are going through. So very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Jim Decker

Condolence From: Deborah Nash Ott
Condolence: Dear Irene and family- My thoughts are with you during this sad time. John brought such laughter and happiness into our household when he was a part of the band, The Next Best Thing, back in his high school days. A joy for life, a great capacity for creativity, a genuine concern for others, all these attributes were combined in John. He touched many lives, including my own. I grieve for the loss of a remarkable man and friend to the Nash family. Sincerely, Deb
