Irondequoit: Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the age of 93. Predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Louise Reber; brother, Oscar Reber. Survived by his loving wife, Marjorie (Nied) Reber; daughters, Lisa (John) Gebbie, Anne (Randy) Gefell and Amy Hoderlein; grandchildren, Dawn Gebbie Lamendola, John (J.J.) Gebbie, Stephen Gebbie, Heather Hoderlein and Taylor Hoderlein; great-grandchildren, Madison Lamendola, Benton Lamendola, Norah Lamendola, Jayna Gebbie, Stella Gebbie, Jack Gebbie and Sam Gebbie; nieces and nephews. Joe was a member of the American Legion Post #1463, Irondequoit Historical Society and the German American Historical Committee.

Services and Interment at Irondequoit Cemetery will be held privately.
