Obituary for Millie Kay Salvato

Millie Kay Salvato passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 46 years James J Salvato, children Melissa (Adam) Murray, Jason (Larissa) Salvato, Jamey (Dawn) Salvato, the grandchildren who lit up her life, Jayson, Tyler, Cameron, Lauren, Jacqueline, Emma, her mother Janell (Clint) O’Quinn, sister Jackie (Ronald) Pratt, brother Bill (Tami) McEachern and many nieces and nephews. Millie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend who brought love, laughter and light to many. Millie worked in the West Irondequoit School District for over 25 years and treasured those she worked with and taught. She enjoyed traveling back home to the white sandy beaches of Pensacola Florida, eating seafood, enjoying cake and attending the numerous events and activities of her six grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.

Friends are welcome Monday 4-7pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. Millie's Funeral Service will be celebrated on her birthday, Tuesday 10am at the Summerville Presbyterian Church 4845 St. Paul Blvd. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
