Obituary for Ronald S. Sadowski
Rochester: Passed peacefully with his family at his bedside Saturday, December 29, 2018 in his
82nd year. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Cecelia Sadowski; brother-in-law, Ronald Furdyn. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Josephine; sons Theodore (Josephine LoMando), E. Lou (Cindy) Sadowski; grandchildren Brianna and Gareth Sadowski; sister Jean Furdyn; aunts Marjorie Nowak and Genevieve Crew; nieces and cousins. Ron was a retiree of General Motors, working at Delco and Rochester Products Divisions with 41 years of service. He was an avid reader, amateur artist, astronomer and gardener. Ron was a longtime fan of the Rochester Red Wings, Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Browns through all their ups and downs.
Friends are welcome Friday 5-8pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. Ronald's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 9am at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to a charity of your choice.
