Irondequoit: Stuart, a graduate of the Preparatory Department of the Eastman School of Music and a classical music lover, was a devout Catholic who attended daily Mass much of his life. He had been a seminarian with the Third Order Regular Franciscans of the Province of the Most Sacred Heart. He experienced a renewal of his Catholic Faith in 1999 partly due to the influence of Mother Angelica and her programs on EWTN. He was active in several catechetical programs in the several churches of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish. He was known for his devotion to Our Lady Undoer of Knots due to a healing he received in 2016 from her prayers and intercession. He died in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ and His Immaculate Mother Mary on June 7th, 2022.

Stuart's Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 15th at 11am at St. Kateri Parish at St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
