Obituary for Viola B. "Auntie" Campagna
Sunday, February 20th, 2022 at the age of 97. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Campagna; sisters, Alma Pavia and Ann P. Patella; brother-in-law, Dr. Thomas J. Patella; nephew, Thomas J. Patella Jr.; sister-in-law, Grace Campagna. Survived by her nephew, Rev. Michael Patella OSB; niece, Francine (Keith Ryan) Patella; great nephew, Aaron Patella Ryan; great nieces, Kiri Patella Ryan, Elizabeth and Margaret Patella; many cousins and dear friends.
Viola was a social worker, then taught kindergarten for many years before becoming an administrator for the Greece School District. She also assisted her husband with Campagna Real Estate. Viola will be remembered for her countless acts of kindness, generosity and her quiet and loving approach to helping and supporting others in need.
A Memorial Mass to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, April 23rd 10am at St. Anne Church (1600 Mt. Hope Ave.) Entombment was held privately. Memorials may be made to the Anne P. Patella Scholarship Fund, Saint John's School of Theology and Seminary, PO Box 7288, Collegeville, MN 56321 Attn: Grace Ellens.
