Rochester: Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the age of 73. Predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Helen Swan; husband, Frederick C.; sisters, Betsy Farrell and Sheila Manza; brother, Michael Swan. Survived by her son, Frederick K. (Leslie); daughter, Jill Brightman (Smith); sisters, Kathy, Janet, Carol and Bonnie; grandchildren, Lukas and Tanner Brightman and Carl Smith; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia was retired after 30 years as a 911 dispatcher. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.

Friends are welcome Friday, December 13th 4-8pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. where a Service will be held at 8pm. Interment will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.
