Brighton: Died after a brief illness on Sunday, July 8, 2012. Sr. Ginny was a well known History teacher at both the middle school and high school levels and also served as the Dean of Discipline at Mercy High. She was a founder of the Mercy Prayer Center and served as Spiritual Director for many years. During those years she also began the Candle With Care Studio in which she created candles with recycled wax. Sr. Ginny is survived by many close friends and her Sisters in Community.

Friends are welcome to call Wednesday 3-7 at the Mercy Center (1437 Blossom Road) where a Vigil Service will be held at 7 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 10 AM at the Mercy Center. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Sisters of Mercy, 1437 Blossom Road, Rochester, NY 14610 or to the Mercy Prayer Center, 65 Highland Avenue 14620.
