Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bernice Schum can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: She was a warm hearted, kind, and generous lady. She was very special. I will always remember her warm smile that was so bright especially when she saw the kids and grandchildren. I will always remember her kindness and you could always feel that loving heart shine though whenever you were around her. Rest in peace and I am sure she is dancing with the angels now. My prayers and thoughts are with the Schum family.

Condolence: Bernie wore that characteristic smile to greet anyone who entered her presence. She was kind, gentle, and always welcomed me into her home. I grew up around the corner; we had a lovely, caring neighborhood. Bernie's house was always full of activity (commotion)but everyone was welcomed.
