Condolence: My dearest Aunt Carol you are one who has stuck in my mind and influenced me in so many good ways for the rest of my life here on earth. I remember good times swimming in your pool and putting my grandma Able to rest in Syracuse are the most recent. I remember being your little Hunyak, as a young New Yorker born in Rochester, because... well... I am sure I deserved having that dubious distinction as your nephew and your brother's first son. Many a moments come to mind although the sands of time have etched them into a smile on my face that will stand the test of time!! You will be missed dearly by me. I wished you could have met your great nephews, my sons, as they have definitely been fulfilling the role of Hunyak quite well in there time early on earth since their birth as 12 and 8 year olds. May you rest in peace and thank God you will be cherished. Uncle Butch, you are a happiness in my heart because you always smile and made me laugh. (probably at my expense). And Joy, the cousin I only know so little of but the time we spent was good when your mom was present. May all of Carol's closest, please embrace the best that she was and just be at ease that she will be dancing with the Angels. I pray that we all may dance and laugh together again! Love to you Carol and prayers for you and your family be forever answered. Pat, Thank you always and deeply for your compassion and love for my aunt and your sister. You too are deserving of God's grace!! Love to all!!

Condolence: I only remember meeting you twice. My Dad proved I was wrong. See the photo?! I'm fond of those memories, no matter how brief. I'm very grateful for having met you.

You're always in my prayers Aunt Carol. May God Bless you!

Condolence: Carol's loss is also deeply felt by all of the nieces and nephews (15 of them outside the Rochester area) that remember her sense of humor and her love of fun and having a good time. All of our good memories sustain us at this sad time. Although we can't be there, we are sending our love and hugs to all of the family, especially Butch, Joy and family, and her sister, Patty, who helped care for Carol these past months. Thank you so much, Pat from all of us. We love you Carol and may you rest in peace.

Condolence: I am so very, very sorry. I remember Carol from church years ago, and, Joy, you were one of my favorites. :) My heart goes out to each of you. If I can't get to the service because of work, please know of the heart-felt thoughts and prayers that are with you. May God embrace you and sustain you. I'm sure He was with your mom in her scariest moments. She would not be alone. May He touch your hearts with a comfort and peace, and assure you that He is also with you. Thinking of you...Heather (Himes) (from Webster UCC)
