Irondequoit: Surrounded by family on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the age of 88. Predeceased by his parents, Martin and Edith Kolb; his loving wife of 60 years, Martha; son, Raymond E. Kolb; daughter, Mary Ann Kolb; and brother Robert Kolb. Survived by sons, Gerard E.(Joan) Kolb, Joseph E.(Denise) Kolb; daughters, Sr. Kathleen Ann Kolb RSM, Nancy Anselm(Eric), Janet Thompson(Carolyn); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Friends are welcome to call SUNDAY 2-4, 7-9pm at the JOHN M. HEDGES FUNERAL HOME, 1717 Portland Ave.(corner of Portland and E.Ridge Rd.) Edward's Funeral Mass will be celebrated TUESDAY 10am at the Mercy Center(1437 Blossom Rd) Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Sisters of Mercy.
