Betty was born in Quincy, MA and resided in Greece, NY.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Bertram Steene. Survived by daughters, Debra Steene and Sheri Keefe; grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley), Rachel, and Renee Keefe; great-granddaughter, Paige Keefe; sisters, Eleanor Freedman and Barbara Hertz. The family wishes to acknowledge the staff at the Jewish Home of Rochester for their friendship and wonderful care of Betty.

No prior calling. Service and Interment at Irondequoit Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, PO Box 20827 Tampa, FL 33622-0827
