I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Eugene. I met Eugene at a very young age, and knew him only briefly. The McGlynn family was one of the most generous and welcoming families I can recall in all my time in Webster. Led by this big-hearted man, I know where much of that generosity and care came from. I also know the family's sense of loss today is greater than I can imagine. Eugene was a fierce protector, a man of great faith and honesty. I hope you can take this day to remember the good times fondly, as I will. He is at peace now. I rejoice for his good fortune in having met him and for the legacy he leaves in you; his family. You still bear the marks of a family well led and loved.
