Irondequoit: January 22, 2014 at age 92. Isabel was born August 17, 1921 in Manhattan and raised in Queens. She and her husband Alfred, who predeceased her in 2005 graduated from Queens College in 1942, then following WWII, he in the Air Corps, she in a defense plant, they moved to Rochester in 1946 where they raised their family. They moved back to Irondequoit from Prescott, AZ in 2003 after retiring there in 1978. She was also predeceased by her parents, Will and Sadie Kranz; sister, Edna Behrman; brother, Donald Kranz. Isabel is survived by her children: Steven (Roxanne), Michael, Eileen (Stephen) D'Arienzo, Douglas (Sheila), and Lawrence (Rita); 15 grandchildren: Greg (Chelsea) Walther, Erica (A.J.) Schlaefer; Damon D'Arienzo, Alicia (Jon) Drury, Jessica (Andy) Buckpitt, Brittany (Concetta) Smythe, Nicholas and Zachary D'Arienzo; Scott (Jinna) Davis, Kevin Davis, Eric Walther; Danielle, Emily, Olivia, and Lillian Walther; and 12 great-grandchildren. Isabel is also survived by her brother, William Kranz, Jr.; sister-in-law, Mary Kranz; Godson and nephew, Walter Behrman, Jr.; and many other nephews and nieces.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann's Home Chapel (1500 Portland Avenue) Saturday February 1, 2014 at 12 NOON. No prior calling.
