Brighton: After a brief illness on October 12, 2012. Sister Lorraine was a teacher and principal in the Rochester Diocesan Schools for close to 50 years ministering in Rochester and Elmira. Once she retired from teaching she did clerical work at Cardinal Mooney High School until it closed in 1989. She is survived by her sister, Arline Lynch, niece and nephews, Laurie Champion, John(Margaret)Lynch, Jan(Christy) Lynch, and her sisters in community.
Friends are welcome to call Monday 4-7pm at the Mercy Center(1437 Blossom Rd.) Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 11am at the Mercy Center. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in her memory to the Sisters of Mercy.
