Irondequoit: Monday, November 25, 2013. Nancy passed away peacefully after a brief courageous battle with Cancer. She is predeceased by her parents, Jennie and Charles Ross, and brother Benny Sortino. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Benny Calcagno; children, Richard(Theresa) Calcagno, Kathy(Bill) Homan, Carolyn(Tony) Fedele, and Joe(Juanita) Cimineri; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Kay Brenna; nieces, nephews. Nancy retired from Julian's Dry Cleaners in February 2013. She enjoyed going to concerts, riding roller coasters, and playing cards. Nancy played poker with the same group of girls for 40 years. She is remembered for her Christmas Wreath making business which she ran out of her home every Christmas season and was a talented painter and wallpaper hanger for hire. Her undying love and devotion to her family will be sadly missed.

Nancy's Memorial Mass will be celebrated MONDAY 10:30am at St. Kateri at St. Cecilia Church. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Make a Wish Foundation 4600 Main St. Suite 101 Snyder, NY 14226 in memory of Nancy and her nephew Blake Cognata.
