Christner Jr. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Joanne Christner; sons, William T.(Kristine) Christner Jr., Richard F.(Rebecca) Christner; daughters, Patricia Christner, Mary (Andrew) Haskell, Rebecca (Carter White) Christner, Celanire (Peter) Halecki, Ann (Derek) Frost; grandchildren, Patrick Christner, Sara Christner, Derek Christner, Daniel Halecki, Mark Halecki, Kaitlyn Christner, Thomas Christner, Celanire Christner, Kaighin Frost, Nathan Frost, Lauren Frost, and Collin Frost; nieces and nephews. William was a veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Friends are welcome to call TUESDAY 4-7pm at the DREIER-GILTNER FUNERAL HOME INC. 1717 Portland Ave. (corner of Portland and East Ridge Rd.) His Funeral Mass will be celebrated WEDNESDAY 10am at St. Kateri @ St. Margaret Mary Church. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
