Penfield: Zella was born April 30, 1919 in Perth Amboy, NJ, the youngest child of Andrew and Eva Yellen and was a resident of Rochester, NY since 1958. She entered eternal rest on September 29, 2014 following a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Predeceased by her parents; her cherished husband in 1975, Louis J. Boyer of Rochester, NY (formerly Perth Amboy, NJ and Wilkes Barre, PA); as well as her six brothers and six sisters, most of whom resided in central New Jersey. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lon and Paula Boyer of Webster, NY; a brother-in-law, Walter Rybarczik of Perth Amboy, NJ; a sister-in-law, Helen Bryla of Edison, NJ; and a number of nieces and nephews. The Boyer family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the administrators and staff members of Crimson Ridge Gardens, Grande Vie Senior Living, and Penfield Place Nursing Home for the care and compassion given to Zella in her final years.

No prior calling. Zella's life will be celebrated on THURSDAY at 12noon at PEACE OF CHRIST PARISH AT ST. AMBROSE CHURCH. Interment White Haven Memorial Park.
