I met Verenda at MCDHS, She would always come to Team 3 to have conversations with other employees on the Team and I would join in.
One day we started talking about the Military and our family and from there we became friends. When my sister passed away in 2016 Verenda reached out to me and gave me encouraging words that I will never forget. She was A Beautiful Person inside and out and I will miss her prensence.
Our hearts are saddened by your passing and our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Rest In Peace Verenda.❤️

Verenda was my coworker (my senior to be exact) my go to person daily, for questions/concerns, etc. Those questions quickly turned into more personal conversations and decorating our office 💔 I wish we had the time to do all the things we had planned. But our lord and savior needed you more👼🏻 I thank God for allowing me the time and the memories I do have with you. I’ve learned so much from you like how to be an amazing mother! And I promise to live life as you did, so humbly, peacefully and generously. You were adored, admired and so loved! Rest in paradise beautiful!
Prayers for healing, comfort and guidance for Jayden, her mother, Christina and all the rest of family/friends

I have worked with Verenda for 7.5 years. She was a smart, kind, and hard working woman. She was an awesome mom and daughter. She will be missed dearly. I wish I had more time with her and wish I had told her exactly how much I admired her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. May she rest in peace in heaven for eternity. ❤

I worked with Verenda at the Jewish Home when she was just starting her career, shortly after she left the military. She was very bright and ambitious, a pleasure to work with. She was also a dedicated mother and a friend to all. My condolences to her family and friends.

My condolences to the Napier family. I'm sorry to hear about the untimely loss of dear Verenda. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering.
